HOW IT WORKS
How it works.
Four steps, in this order. You talk to Korra, we have a call, we come inside and look at the business properly, then we fix what we found and run it. The first two are free. Nothing is built before somebody has looked.
The call
You tell us where the business is at. We tell you straight whether the audit makes sense for you and what it would look at first.
You tell us where the business is at and what you want out of it. We tell you straight whether the audit makes sense for you and what it would look at first. Fifteen minutes, and you know where you stand.
The audit
One page: what is working, what is holding the business back, the revenue it is leaving on the table, and the order to fix things in.
You fill in one form. We read your numbers the way a buyer would, and sit down with you for an hour. You leave with one page: what is working, what is holding the business back, the revenue you are leaving on the table, and the order to fix things in. It is yours whatever you do next.
WHAT ONE TO TWO MONTHS MEANS
Not a survey. Not a week of interviews and a slide deck. Long enough to watch a normal month happen, and a bad one, so what we find is what actually goes on rather than what everybody says goes on. We are inside the business while it runs, not reading a description of it.
WHAT WE LOOK AT
Everything that brings work in, and everything that happens after it arrives. How a customer first hears of you, and what they find when they go and check. What you send out and who answers it. What happens to the call, the enquiry and the quote. Who touches each one, where it waits, and what the waiting costs you. The busywork your team is doing instead of the work you hired them for. And the offer itself, because more demand into a weak offer only makes the mess bigger.
WHAT YOU HOLD AT THE END
A written account of what is broken, what each break is costing you, and the order to fix it in. Named systems, named numbers, and the first thing to do on Monday. It is written down, so you can hand it to your team, your accountant, or the next firm you talk to.
IT IS YOURS EITHER WAY
If you never speak to us again, you keep all of it. We would rather you had the findings and went elsewhere than had nothing. That is the whole risk you are taking, and it is why we can say no to people without it costing them anything.
WHY THERE IS NO NUMBER HERE
The audit is scoped to the company. A twelve person shop and a two hundred person one are not the same job, and quoting both the same figure would mean one of them is being overcharged. That is why the call comes first.
It is a paid audit. We tell you the fee on the call, before you decide anything, and it comes off the build if you go ahead.
What you pay for the audit comes off the build.
The build
We fix what the audit found, in the order the audit put it, inside your business, with your people.
We fix what the audit found, in the order the audit put it. Someone other than you quoting and closing. Maintenance agreements. Books a buyer would trust. Pricing you can defend. The people you have been meaning to hire. We work with your own people, inside the business, until it runs at the level it should. What you paid for the audit comes off the price.
The exit, if you want it
If you ever want out, the business is ready to sell by then, and we know the buyer. If you want to keep it and step back, do that instead.
This one is optional and it comes last. By then we know the business from the inside, because we did the work in it. If you want out, the business is ready to sell and we know the buyer. We are never the broker: no cut, no fee, no commission, no interest on anything. If you want to keep it and step back, do that instead.
You get a straight answer on the first call, either way.
Not as a posture. There are three reasons we say no, and we say them on the call rather than three months into an engagement that was never going to work.
The offer is not proven yet.
If people are not already buying it, more demand only makes a bigger mess. Go and sell it by hand until somebody pays you, then come back.
The team or the systems cannot absorb it.
Doubling the calls into a business that cannot answer the ones it already has is not a favour. Sometimes the honest answer is to fix the inside first, and sometimes that is not a job for us.
We are at capacity.
We do the work ourselves, inside a small number of companies at a time. When the seats are full they are full, and we would rather say so than take the money and spread ourselves across it.
Who it is for: Owners of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing companies doing one to five million a year, with five to fifteen people, in the United States and Canada.
The call is free, the page is yours whatever you do next, and you get a straight answer either way.
The five parts we run are on what we do. The work behind it is on proof.
